西安交通大學張彥鵬教授團隊聯(lián)合俄羅斯科學院的Yaroslav V. Kartashov教授--在光子石墨烯中發(fā)現(xiàn)邊界態(tài)孤子
      邊界態(tài)出現(xiàn)在科學的各個領(lǐng)域,為未來電子或光電設(shè)備,以及聲學和光子學中的聲光傳播控制提供了潛在的機會。以前關(guān)于光子學中邊界態(tài)的實驗主要在線性狀態(tài)下進行,但目前的研究重點是將非線性效應引入到邊界態(tài)物理學中,進而形成邊緣孤子,光學隔離,使得在這種狀態(tài)下穩(wěn)定發(fā)射激光。這里,研究人員通過原子相干效應和三光干涉技術(shù)在熱原子介質(zhì)中誘導出光子石墨烯,而后在重構(gòu)光子石墨烯晶格中鋸齒形邊緣處發(fā)現(xiàn)了邊界態(tài)孤子。為了獲得邊界態(tài)孤子,還引入拉曼增益來抵消邊界態(tài)光波傳播過程中的損耗。該研究結(jié)果可能會為未來探索非線性拓撲光子學開辟了道路。
